The Old and New Landscape of China Town Singapore can be seen here with the 50 storeys Pinnacle @ Duxton, completed in 2009, and 100 year conservation houses in the foreground along both sides of the street. The Pinnacle is Singapore Housing Development Board’s first residential project with sky bridges connecting the towers. It took 1 generation, 80-90 years for us to transform from old to the new. I love the early morning light that captured the softness of the scene while the street was still quiet.

Image was taken with 17- 40mm lens with Canon 5D Mark III. Lens distortion perspectively corrected on Adobe Lightroom to show the upright buildings.

The Old and New Landscape of China Town Singapore can be seen here from different angle at different lighting conditions. Join us in the Travel Photography Workshop in Singapore.
